Hello all,
Another week has come and gone. Nothing too exciting happened here. We are in the midst of summer school. Just reviewing everything they have learned, doing math problems and practicing reading. It was kinda funny, one of my more squirmy kids was wiggling around while asking what halt meant, I told her stop. She stopped wiggling around, and asked the same question again, again I stop her stop. Her reply, “I’m not wiggling anymore!” haha that made me laugh, I told her halt means stop. She got a big grin on her face, laughed and started wiggling around some more.
Yesterday we celebrated graduation with a fun little party. In previous years, the teachers would get up on stage and have to sing a song for the whole family. But this year, Nanay wanted to change it up and surprise everyone. All the graduating students and teachers were called up on stage, broken up into groups given a box of props, told we were to act out a story using only hand motions and then sing a song that fit with our song. My group was given Daniel in the Lions Den. We had so much fun with it. Toilet paper mustaches, bed sheets duck taped on, a broom used to make the mane of a lion. We had such a fun time figuring out how to use all the props!
Other than that, it has been rainy off and on all week. I personally love this wet summer. I had prepared myself for a extremely hot, steamy summer. But thus, far it has been a pretty mild summer, yay!!!
Well that is it for now, God bless you all,
Kelsey
