Hello Everyone,
I trust you are all doing well.
Today I had a bit of a computer scare. My A, S, D, F keys on my computer
decided to stop working. Which meant I couldn’t even open my account on my
computer. And as I started thinking there are many words that cannot be spelled
if a, s, d, f are missing. My entence woul look bit like thi.
Bunch o letter miin in my entence. That would be a bit confusing for you
all to read my blog. After talking to Apple Jude, it would cost far too many
pesos for me to fix my computer. It is almost 5 years old, in computer years,
its about 85. Just so I could use my computer, I bought a hunk of an external
keyboard. It is huge but I am so thankful that it could fix my problem instead
of having a dead computer. I’m calling him Moby :)
I have to say I feel incredibly
blessed. God has blessed me with wonderful friends and family both state-side
and here. In Ilongo, manang means older sister and all these ladies here have
become my sisters. I absolutely love them to pieces. When we were working in
the little house together, while we were exhausted, sore, dirty, we would have
so much fun together! There were times where we laughed till we cried, took
smallish naps together on the floor or counters, chatted, hoped all the food pictures
on the wall would turn into real food, shared snacks. I just kept thinking how
thankful I am for these ladies. They make life colourful. How thankful I am to
be counted as their sister.
I am doubly blessed. I have my
family and friends who have supported me every step of the way. My family is
faithful to skype me every week. They have even taken me along with them when
they go to someone else’s house. Then my dear and wonderful best friends
Kristen and Drew who give up time each week to either skype me or email me.
Their walking this journey along with me has been invaluable. God uses each one
of them, my family and friends here and there, to encourage me, to strengthen
me, to teach me, to love on me. God is so amazing to put all these people into
my life. I cannot be thankful enough for them.
Love you all and God bless,
Kels
