Hello all J
I trust this finds you all well.
This post will be short and simple. This past week, thanks to my wonderful friends who sent the crafts supplies, my kids and I did a craft! I wasn’t sure if they would enjoy it. I tore pieces of construction paper and we were going to make a faux mosaic. They absolutely loved it! More than anything, they liked being able to make whatever they wanted. Usually if they are colouring, it is for a school assignment and very specific. But this was pulugpet, meaning anything. Some did abstract designs focusing on the colours, others did nature scenes, it was fun watching them design their project. Then after they were all done, they enhanced it by adding glitter glue. That was such a hit! They loved the glitter glue! They are now decorating my classroom J
Then on Saturday, the girls got to swim for the first time in a while due to all the rain we have had recently. I was the lifeguard. Both the little and big girls yelling “Nang Kelsey, watch me!!” Then they would stick their face in the water or do a handstand. It was fun watching them thoroughly enjoying themselves.
On Sunday we celebrated Tatay’s 70th birthday!! He is as strong as ever! We celebrated with a picnic and his favorite foods. Everyone had a great time.
Well, I am going to end by asking for prayer. I have had a couple of difficult days and your prayers for peace and a calm spirit would be absolutely wonderful.
God bless and love, Kelsey
